INDIGESTION
  • Eat ginger with rock salt before meal or radish.
  • Lick mixture of mint juice & black salt.
  • Drinking mixture of ½ tsp ajwain seed, a pinch of rock salt in lemon juice.
  • Take mustard seed powder along with water cut ripe pineapple into pieces, sprinkle pepper & rock salt on it & eat it.
  • Take pinch of asafoetida with ghee.
  • Drink onion juice with roasted asafoetida & salt.
  • Drink decoction of kokum, with ghee.
  • Mix equal quantity of garlic,sugar & rock salt,mix double the quantity of ghee & eat it to cure indi-gestion & swelling of belly.
  • Eat mint chutney mixed with jaggery.
  • Drink watermelon or orange juice after meals for quick digestion.
  • Having a tablet prepared from lindipiper & jaggery 3 times a day.
  • Make a tablet of jaggery & long pepper & take it thrice a day.
INSOMNIA (LOSS OF SLEEP)
  • Before sleeping wash hands-legs with cold water & rub ghee on the foot sole & forehead.
  • Taking pepper root powder & rubbing castor oil on the feet.
  • Eating jaggery along with ganthoda powder & drinking warm milk on it.
  • Roast tender brinjal, mix it in honey & take it while sleeping.
  • By drinking a cold juice of fennel seeds, milk & sugar.
  • Heat milk with nutmeg, pepper root & sugar.Drink this milk while sleeping.
  • Taking 2 to 3 gm of grinded poppy seeds with sugar & honey or ghee while sleeping.
  • Due to over thinking, old age & gas trouble, you don't get sound sleep, at that time, by eating 2 gms of pepper root powder along with jaggery & ghee, helps to get sound sleep.
  • To stay awake at night - Drink lemon & sugar water.
  • To prevent snoring keep 2 drops of castor oil in the nose while sleeping.
  • To avoid night discharge eat garlic before sleep after washing hand & feet.
  • Oil massage & bathing with warm water before going to sleep.
  • Have Ashwagandha, Jatamasi, Bhrami & Shankhavali churn in equal proportion before going to sleep.
  • Satodi is very effective on Insomnia & revitalizes body system.
  • Have ½ gm Sarpgandha at night.
  • Include onion & curd in daily dinner.
  • Drink sugar syrup with coriander leaves.wAvoid tea, coffee or alcohol for a sound sleep.
