- Slice of raw potato
in used oil, makes it reusable.
- Old mosquito mats
can be reused by putting drop of neem or eucalyptus oil.
- Clean, spoiled
lighter with petrol, to activate it again.
- Dried ink of refills
can be reused by dipping in hot water or scratching on glass.
- Dried gum can be
reused by adding vinegar.
- Kerosene makes
dry boot polish reusable & last longer.
- A drop of glycerin
on dried water colour, makes it reusable.

SHOE
CARE

- To avoid shoe bite
apply ghee on new shoes overnight.
- To dry wet boots
fill in old newspaper.
- Dissolve chalk
in milk & apply on canvas shoes to make it whiter.

PRECAUTION

- Always keep leather
article in cotton bag instead of plastic bag.
- Keeping needle
in talcum powder prevent it from rust.
- Pick small glass
pieces with wet cloth or dough or soap.
- Hammer nails on
walls after soaking in hot water, doing so plaster will not be damaged.
- Wash rat cage before
catching another rat.
- Fill every finger
of rubber gloves with cotton when not in use.
- Application of
transparent nail varnish, prevent metal from getting rusted.
- Never remove pressure
cooker's ring from its lid,when hot. It elongates & make it loose.
- Unfold paper under
carpet, to prevent it from dust & damage.

VESSEL
CARE
|
- To properly clean
pan,rub lemon skin on hot pan.
- 2 stuck vessels
can be seperated by pouring hot water on outer vessel.
- Stickers of vessel
can be removed by burning candle.
- To avoid junk on
iron apply olive oil.
- To clean inside
of aluminum vessels boil water with acetic acid or onions or rub it
with mixture of salt & lemon juice.
- Clean burnt vessels
with salt & copper vessels with lemon.

STITCHING

- Sewing machine
belt can be tightened if kept in cold water for ½ an hour &
dried in sun.
- Stitch button with
waxed (rub against candle) thread.
- To prevent removal
of thread, cut nylon cloth with hot scissor.
- Stitch silk, avargandi,
velvet cloth with paper below it for straight stitching.
- To remove rust
over needle,pierce it in soap, for 2-3 times.
- To easily insert
tiny pearl in thread, put end of it in nail polish & dry it.

FURNITURE

Torn
wall paper of the room can be stuck with tooth paste to prevent further
spoilage.

Door,
& window, stopper's can be easily opened & closed after application
of soap or wax or oil or glycerin on it's sides.

Dipping
rusted screw in oil & then scrubbing removes rust.

Use
old shaving brush to clean hard to reach places.

To
avoid dust put papers under windows & doors when home is closed.
