The spiritual monk Parshwa reached a dense forest. He stood under a huge tree and got absorbed in meditation. The demon Meghmali lived on the same tree. Seeing the monk, he was vengeful.

Meghmali through his malicious power, dangerous animals like lions, elephants, poisonous snakes etc. to bite him severely. But the lord remained unpurturbed in meditation.
